Atelier is a small Paris studio that has been running courses in painting and drawing since 1994. We work in small cohorts, with instructors who still spend most of their days in front of an easel.

Our courses move slowly on purpose. Materials, observation, and the long arc of a single piece matter more to us than turnover. Most students return for a second course; many stay for years.

The studio sits on a quiet courtyard in the 11th arrondissement. Visitors are welcome by appointment — write to us if you'd like to come by.
